Positive Action Pathways has been designed by Sam and Charmaine Odusina who have a wealth of experience between them in Retail, Employment Law, Leadership and Management, Coaching and Personal and Social skills training.
Our training courses are designed to enable YOU to use your knowledge and skills and apply them to new situations. We use participative, interactive techniques along with practical and relevant materials which will make a real difference to your situation and allow you to have fun while learning. We do stretch YOU!
All our team are skilled in these areas having first hand experiences of job search, redundancy and career change and we have made every effort to design courses which will have a positive impact on your life.
Charmaine Odusina
The lead Director who holds a Masters in Community Development, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Development and has over 10 years experience of community development and regeneration issues. Charmaine has a proven track record of working across Education and Adult Learning with a current focus on Family Learning. She is passionate about working in partnership cross all sectors including the faith sector to produce meaningful outcomes for individuals and the communities in which they live. As a community activist herself, Charmaine is keen to see others become leaders in their current situation through taking positive steps to make a difference in their own lives and the wider community or workplace.
Sam Odusina
is an energetic and enthusiastic campaigner for people to take action to secure and sustain employment. He is motivated to encourage individuals to gain the skills that will enable them to enjoy a better quality of life for themselves and their families. Sam has over 10 years experience of equality and diversity issues and is a great example of strong leadership and positive engagement with a great sense of humour.

Introduction to Leadership
A highly interactive 1 day course looking at what makes a good leader, leadership styles, self management, dealing with difficult situations, communication styles, coaching and feedback skills and the use of power.
Leadership & Motivation
This is a 2 day course which covers both theoretical and practical aspects of leadership and motivation, including time management, delegation, team work skills and managing performance. It is suitable for anyone who is about to become a leader or manager who wishes to review, assess and refresh their own leadership and motivational style.
*OCN - Developing Positive Skills in Numeracy & Literacy
It is a central focus of the Government to raise the attainment levels for literacy and numeracy in the UK and many employers requesting that employees have as a minimum, a Level One Award, often offering support where needed. This course offers learners an opportunity to develop and practice key skills in literacy and numeracy and can be offered at Level One and Level Two.
*OCN - Developing Positive Personal and Social Skills
This course is highly recommended to support clients to develop their personal skills and prepare for new challenges. There are a range of modules available to suit client needs and provide each individual with a personal development plan. This is a good choice for those who have been made redundant or are currently under notice of redundancy.
