Leadership Academy
Positive Action Pathways offers several courses through its Leadership Academy. All our clients will graduate with a Certificate of completion from Positive Action Pathways Leadership Academy as well as Awards from the Awarding Body where applicable. We are an accredited provider for OCN (Open College Network) and have plans to extend the Awards in the near future.
Through our Leadership Academy we provide a focused environment for interactive learning so that YOU can sharpen your skills to become a confident leader. The Leadership Academy will provide you with all the skills needed to become an excellent manager and develop a successful, Leadership style.
After attending these courses you will be equiped with a toolbox of skills that you can use to seek greater sucess and become an outstanding leader.

Introduction to Leadership
A highly interactive 1 day course looking at what makes a good leader, leadership styles, self management, dealing with difficult situations, communication styles, coaching and feedback skills and the use of power.
Leadership & Motivation
This is a 2 day course which covers both theoretical and practical aspects of leadership and motivation, including time management, delegation, team work skills and managing performance. It is suitable for anyone who is about to become a leader or manager who wishes to review, assess and refresh their own leadership and motivational style.
*OCN - Developing Positive Skills in Numeracy & Literacy
It is a central focus of the Government to raise the attainment levels for literacy and numeracy in the UK and many employers requesting that employees have as a minimum, a Level One Award, often offering support where needed. This course offers learners an opportunity to develop and practice key skills in literacy and numeracy and can be offered at Level One and Level Two.
*OCN - Developing Positive Personal and Social Skills
This course is highly recommended to support clients to develop their personal skills and prepare for new challenges. There are a range of modules available to suit client needs and provide each individual with a personal development plan. This is a good choice for those who have been made redundant or are currently under notice of redundancy.
* denotes that the above are OCN accredited courses available to develop and build leadership skills, the content can be adapted according to your needs and require learners to develop a portfolio of evidence to support their learning. The courses are suitable for clients aged 16 and over who have no qualifications and have been out of mainstream school for some time.
